Our Story
Founded in 2017, Universal Partners was created with the vision of becoming the leading money remittance and foreign exchange service providers across the global corporate marketplace.
After becoming an FCA-regulated company, we quickly began working with some top-tier corporate businesses across many different industries, leading to recognition as the 20th best start-up in the UK in the Startups 100 index.
During the Covid-19 crisis in 2020, our growth continued at a great pace and were added to the Crown Commercial Service register after agreeing to offer our services at cost to all organisations involved in distributing PPE to help the United Kingdom’s pandemic response.
Recent years have seen us move to a 7,550 sq. foot office in the heart of Canary Wharf and trade in excess of $3bn on behalf of our clients. Partnerships were quickly established with some notable associations such as Timber Development UK and ABTA, the UK’s leading trade association for travel businesses. Our dedication to the requirements of our clients has recently resulted in us winning the ‘Most Trusted FX Broker’ accolade at the Pan Finance Awards in 2022.
